"My focus is to work with women at any stage of their lives, but particularly during the pregnancy and postpartum stage. My classes and teaching include Hypnobabies, which is a childbirth education course for pregnant women & their partners. I also teach Infant Massage classes for parents, Women's Yoga classes and a Prenatal Yoga Couple Labor Prep workshop which is very popular! The prenatal yoga classes on Saturday morning are one of my all time favorites....as well as postnatal yoga where I get to see all the babies!
When I moved to Portland with my husband Todd in 2000 I enrolled at East West College of the Healing Arts. Other studies over the years include Spiritual healing courses, pregnancy massage courses, craniosacral Therapy for adults & infants, Postpartum Doula training, Reiki I & II, as well as personal studies in herbs , nutrition and aromatherapy.
I became a Certified Instructor of Infant Massage with Kalena Babeshoff of the Foundation for Healthy Family Living in 2002, and a Certified Hypnobabies Instructor in 2005. I also studied Maya Abdominal Massage with Rosita Arvigo in 2008 and I incorporate those techniques into my massage practice.
