We welcomed our baby girl Hazel (Zella) Neve Gould into the world on December 25 at 11:47am. She weighed 7lbs and 12 oz. and measured 20.25 inches in length. She is doing well and taking to nursing like a pro.
She came into the world during the first substantial snow on Christmas Day in Portland in 70 years! Just after she came out, we opened the blinds to a magical view of large white snowflakes falling from the sky. In honor of this, her middle name means "snow" in Italian. It also means "oasis" in hebrew.
The family is doing well. Noah is being very gentle and brotherly with her.
