Becky's Birth StoryMax Henry was born July 25th, one week early. We are all over the moon about our sweet little boy. My water broke at 5AM, and my husband and I got to the hospital fairly quickly to start the antibiotics due to our strep test results. Labor was much faster than previously, and I dialated from 5 to 10 in 30 minutes. Max weighed 7lbs 4oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. Breastfeeding has proven to be as challenging as it was in the past. I'm glad to report we are doing great now, but not without help and support from both lactation services, and a post partum doula.
I found prenatal yoga such an enjoyable part of this pregnancy, and really appreciate you having created such a class and space for it. I am looking forward to coming to yoga with him in September, and seeing some familiar faces and new little ones.
