Birth Wisdom

Baby Gavin is 2 weeks old now, and I am emerging from my cracked shell and feeling much like myself again (only better). I have been writing about his birth....

Joaquin James Revilla-Harker- born Monday January 4th at 6:27 pm.  My due date was January 10th....

The birth was amazing and went really well. I started feeling pressure waves around midnight. They were very consistent at about 5 minutes apart....



We went into the hospital for monitoring on January first at 9:30 am because Rowan was a week overdue.  Although we were expecting to go back home again, I brought my bags for the hospital just in case.....

I know it's been a while but I just wanted to let you know I had my baby boy. It took me a while to find the energy to write down my birth story cause it's kinda long. In the last few weeks of pregnancy it became pretty painful to walk....

I finally have a moment after a very exciting and tiring week to write you.  Scott and I are happy to announce the birth of our baby boy (you guessed right!).  Tor Henry was born Dec. 8th at 12:51am weighing in at 8 pounds, 9 oz. and 20 in. long.  My birth story follows.....

Alexandra Rory Seymour has arrived! Most obvious characteristic is a great set of lungs that she likes to test on a recurring basis....

Wanted to let you know that I had my baby boy this past Monday November 30th at 4:24 pm. His name is Beckett William King Fong Lau, and he was 8 lbs 8 oz, 21 ∏ inches long. He’s healthy and beautiful and we’re thrilled......

Dear Vittoria and yoga classmates,
Just wanted to send greetings, and let everyone know that our baby boy, Alexander Alan Bach Gregg was born November 16 (Monday morning) at 6:53 AM. Please check out our blog at www.xanderalan.com for more photos.  He weighed 8 lbs 2 oz and was 21.5 inches long.....

Leah Claire Plunkett made her grand entrance into the world on Monday, 11/09/2009 at 5:12pm. She weighed 8 lbs., 7 ounches and was 20 ¼ inches long. She has a head full of strawberry blond hair and cute little bowed legs....

I wanted to let you know of the birth of Yuto Ingmar Lendahls. He was born on Friday, October 23rd at 9:13am and weighed 7 lbs 9 ozs, 21 inches long....

Tuesday morning I woke up at 4:30 AM with a bit of a trickle but had been having quite a bit of discharge so thought nothing of it. I went the gym and ran on the treadmil....

We are living in absolute bliss.  Eia was born Sunday night at 11:42.  As you know, we went in to the hospital Saturday midnight to begin the induction process....

George Armando was born on October 13, 2009.  10 lbs, 1oz, 22 inches long.  I am very glad I took Hypnobabies....

Steve and I are happy to announce the arrival of Owen Anthony Rodriguez!  Owen was born at 2:25 am on September 29, weighing in at 7 pounds, 7 ounces and 21 inches long.....

A quick note to let you know that our little baby girl, Annika Marie, arrived last Tuesday, 9/22. 
At a routine doctor's appt on Monday (9/21), the doctor noticed that the baby's heart rate dropped.....

I guess this email is way overdue, but things have been busy (as you can understand after a baby) and I only now got a chance to send emails. After 3 days in labor and a C-section, Anya Lakshmi Tallman was born on Sept 12th.....

As you know, my water broke on Friday night shortly before 10 PM. We knew things were moving after.....

At long last, the official birth email. I've been very slack! Tilda Jane Juliet Hathaway took her first breath of air on July 27 at 1:38 pm...

We are proud to announce the arrival of our new baby boy, Lucas Kyle Castro...

I just wanted to let you know I had my baby! She was born at home on Father's Day after a 3 hour labor :)  .......

Just wanted to say thanks to you and all the ladies for the kind thoughts and blessings on Saturday's class...they seemed to work! I started contracting in the middle of the night that night....

I'm sorry that it took me almost a month to send the news of Eli's arrival!  We've had visitors staying with us all month......

After a long "labor of love", Wyatt James arrived 4/24 at 2:13 in the afternoon. He was a healthy 8.2 lbs and 22 inches.

I started having contractions about 2 am on Thursday morning and had them all day, they were about 2-4 minutes apart by 11:30 pm on Thursday so we headed up to OHSU then. We did have some complications due to his position.....

I had acupuncture on Monday and Tuesday and started having serious contractions around 2:30am Wednesday.....

Sorry I never emailed about Stefan! Things got hectic in a hurry with all the visitors in town. The delivery was simple. My water broke at home the evening of Sept. 17th, and we checked in to the hospital that night. After 14 hours of unproductive labor, we had some.....

Jessie gave birth to Elling Rowan Speirs our beautiful boy on Oct 1st at 8:11 am. He was 8 lbs 1 ounce 21 inches long. Our labor was 29 hrs long. Her delivery was a totally natural water birth. Our lives are changed forever.....

It has taken me a few days to get this to you, but I wanted to let you know I had my baby on Saturday sept. 13th! She is perfect! Thanks for the Yoga, it really helped. The breathing made the labor a lot easiser & I only had to push for 21 min before she was born!.....

I just wanted to send a quick note to let you know that our baby boy, Isaac Keller Leahy, was delivered on Monday, August 4th at 3:27 pm. He weighed 6 pounds 7 ounces and was 18 1/4 inches long - just a little guy!.....

I had a baby girl on Tuesday the 19th. She came a bit early, but we are home and she is fine.  6 lbs 10 oz, 19 inches long and a really easy birth....

Daeja Lucia Paschoal-Thiem was born at home on Friday, July 11th at 12:07 pm with the help of two wonderful midwives and one incredible husband. Daeja was 7 lbs 14 oz and 20.5 inches long.  We are all adjusting.......

We arrived at OHSU at 6:00 am Monday morning and by 9:42 am Madeline Duvall Pillsbury was born. She weighted in at 7 lbs, 14 oz; 19 inches long with lots of black hair.  We were in the hospital until....

Just letting you know that today we became the very proud parents of Matthias Kai Schroeder, or simply just Matt. He was 5.5 lbs and 19 inches, so he's a little on the small side.........

Thanks to the many prayers and wonderful support we have been blessed with a very healthy beautiful boy.  AJ -- Axel (after his Great Grandpa) John (after both his Grandpas) Colenso was born Wednesday May 28th at 6:57pm weighting 8lbs 9oz at a length of 21 inches...........
