Jill's Birth Story
At long last, the official birth email. I've been very slack!
Tilda Jane Juliet Hathaway took her first breath of air on July 27 at 1:38 pm after a long-ass labor that sent me flying to other planes of being. In the process of managing contractions, I was flowing water, a field of blowing grass, and ultimately chanted with Tibetan monks.

My low heee--hoooo moans apparently reverberated down the hospital halls. Those nurses who say the rooms are sound proof? Not to be believed. In any case, I discovered a few of my outer limits and can see a few more outer limits off in the distance. Hopefully, I'll check those out at some other point in life.
Like all first-time parents who came before (except those really rich people who can hire nurses and nannies) Chris & I are tired and have cried all sorts of tears--from happiness and fear to amazement and holy shit-ness.
Tilda Jane, proving herself to already be a strong willed Leo girl (like her momma), has amazingly strong muscles for a newborn. She hiccups a lot and hates to have her diaper changed.
It's great.
Many well wishes to the next babe to make the next Om Base family a fuller, richer, more beautiful one.
