Yoga
"There is something in nature that forms patterns. We, as part of nature, also form patterns. The mind is like the wind and the body is like the sand; if you want to know how the wind is blowing, you can look at the sand". ~ Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen ~
Because I have been practicing yoga for 19 yrs, and I have practiced, sometimes for years, most kinds of yoga, including Ashtanga, Power Yoga, Kundalini, Forrest Yoga, Flow Yoga and many other types, I feel comfortable guiding beginning students into their practice. I have also had my share of yoga-related injuries, including one that required surgery, and as unpleasant as that was, it has given me more insight into what can happen, why it happens, and how to avoid injuries.
